Amy graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and minors in Physics and Mathematics. She then went on to the University of Rochester to earn both an M.S. and Ph.D. in Chemistry. Upon completing the Ph.D. program at the University of Rochester, Amy joined the faculty at Roberts Wesleyan College in 2009.
In her tenure at Roberts Wesleyan College, Amy has served as a Chemistry professor, Director of Academic Summer, and Director of Special Projects for the Chief Academic Officer. Currently, Amy serves as the Dean for the School of Education and Social Work. In addition to Dean, Amy also serves as the Honors Program Director and oversees the Global Honors Program and the Academic Research and Leadership Honors Program.
Amy attends Calvary Assembly of God and has a heart for justice. She also loves outdoor activities including kayaking, hiking, camping, swimming, running, and biking. When not outside she loves to cook, bake, and read.
